Re: personal lawsuit after workers comp suit is settled

You gave a brief explanation of your situation so I am not sure how accurate my answer can be. Basically you want to sue a former co-worker for personal injury because of harassment. You filed a workman's comp claim which makes filing a lawsuit against your employer exempt but I am not sure about suing your co-worker. You may also have a case against your former employer for wrongful termination. What was their explanation behind the reason given for termination? Why did it matter that you were suing a co-worker? I am also confused about the filing of a lawsuit. Have you already filed suit against the co-worker or do are you just planning on doing so? I would need additional information before I could tell you what your legal options are. You can either contact me toll free by phone for a free consultation at 877-546-9918, or you can email me a better explanation of the events that took place at [email protected]. If you email, please include your name and phone number if you want me to call you. Be sure to include that I answered your lawguru post.

Sincerely,

John Hayes, Esq.
