Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
PI with charges
My son got punched in nose at a party. Nose was broke. Had surgery but still it does not look like it should. It was a sucker punch. Witnesses all say that my son did nothing. Charges were filed. My son didn't want the boy to go to jail and be kicked out of Marines so he told the police not to file as a felony, the boy was drunk. This boy is 22 my son is 20. Alcohol was supplied at the party, parents were home but upstairs. Boy has offered to pay for doctor bills. My son has gone through a lot of pain. What do you think a fair amount would be to ask for or should we get the attorneys to deal with it?

Re: PI with charges
He is entitled to reimbursement for past medical expenses, future medical expenses, loss of past wages, loss of future wages and most importantly pain and suffering. To put a monetary value on pain and suffering, I need more facts. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
