I was on private school property and tripped on a carboard tube lying on the ground and had to go to the hospital to have my teeth wired back in place... Are they responsable for my medical bills?

Not unless they had a duty to remove the object, and their negligent failure to do so caused your injury (as opposed to your merely not looking where you were going). Consult an attorney. Watch out for legal time limits.
