problems with neighbor
what are your rights if a neighbor claims your dog attacked them on the street, but you have never received any notice other than an attorney office asking for your home insurance information?

Give them your insurance information and let your insurance company handle it for you. That is why you pay for insurance.

There is no requirement you be given notice before such questions are asked.
But you should contact your home owners insurance claims department and advise them what is happening. You can find all that our from the broker who sold you the policy - IF you have one.
