Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I just purchased a form from FindLegalForms and wanted to ask a question.

The form= CA Release of Accident Claims"

My daughter rear ended another driver. I am paying for the repair and asking for the release to be signed. Is the driver who got hit (not her husband) the "Releasor" and the driver who hit her (not me) the Releasee? Thank you

.

"or" is the one creating the action or right, and would be the owners of the vehicle [so you need both husband and wife to sign the release]. "ee" is the one receiving the benefit. leassor-leasee, employer-employee, payor-payee

Be sure they agree to hold your daughter and the owner of the vehicle harmless and that their insurance company has not paid anything so that they do not come after you on a subrogation claim. Also get a guarantee that they will not tell your insurance company, as that is why you are paying for the damage and not your carrier.

Why don't you turn this over to your insurance?
