Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I belong to a volunteer emergency response team for a large corporation. We are trained to render aid in the event of a medical emergency, providing first responder care prior to EMS arrival. My question is: if we receive incentive pay to belong to the team (even though it is entirely volunteer), am I outside the Good Samaritan Law because I accept $$ to belong to the team?
