Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
I received a summons for a car accident. I want to stop the judgement against me and settle out of court. I will pay the amount requested by there insurance company, but the attorney said that they would not stop the filing fees until i pay $225.00 the costs of there out of pocket fees to the courts. My question? The attorney filed in the wrong county and the wrong court house. The correct count;y is yolo county. Do i still need to pay for there filingt fees even thought it was the wrong county?

The attorney can easily change the location of the court. You best settle.

Filing fees and costs of suit would be added to a judgment, so you may as well pay.
