Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Receiving pain & suffering when I don't have insurance.

I bought a motorcylcle from a dealership with the combination of cash and credit card. Twenty nine days later, I was broadsided by a car with the driver being 100% at fault (with witnesses). I was riding the cycle with a 1 month suspended license and, now I found out, no insurance on the motorcycle. My question is, can I receive compensation from the other party. If so, are there any limits; does prop 213 come into play. Is prop 213 definite without a way around it? Thank you.

Re: Receiving pain & suffering

Right now there is no way around 213 but that only covers pain & suffering. you can still recover for the bike and medical expenses.
