Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
I recently suffered a broken ankle and knee injuries during a visit to a Vegas casino. The incident occurred when I was retrieving my 2 year old grandson from the jacuzzi area. As I stepped down the stairs with grandson in hand, I stepped onto the bottom landing and my footing slipped from underneath me. Resulting in breaking my left ankle and injuries to my left knee. Luckily my grandson was not injury in the fall. I created a incident report with the casino.Do I have the right to charge the Casino for my medical and loss time at work?

Your success in a lawsuit against the Casino would depend if there was a problem with the bottom landing, for example, was it designed improperly or was it not prepared to be sufficiently slip resistant.
Mr. Selik is right. The casino might be liable for other reasons as well.
Please note that your claim is governed by Nevada law. You may want to re-post your question in that state.
Good luck.
