Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I was riding my bike in California, a car hit me and took off. I got an attorney, they fund the guy, had a witness and now the witness will not get involved and law group dropped the case.

This sort of thing happens all the time: one attorney drops a case, another one picks it up and runs it to the end zone. Personally, I like it better that way, because now your former attorney is not entitled to any fees. If you had been the one to fire him, then your new attorney would have to split the fees with him, and that makes it harder to find a new attorney willing to take the case.

Of course, there are still some questions any new attorney would need to ask, like: when was the accident? Has a lawsuit already been filed? And most importantly, what are your injuries?

My office is very aggressive. We don't believe in dropping a case, not until we've tried absolutely everything. Picking up another lawyer's fumble and scoring, that's my favorite thing to do. If you want a chance at winning, give me a call: (877) LION-FOR-LAW (546-6367)

The issue is who is at fault. If the witness is favorable to you but will not cooperate, we usually can convince them to help an injured party. If they still won't help we need to weigh the evidence to see if we can be successful. If your injuries were serious and you got medical care, feel free to give to contact us for a free consultation.
