Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
I was sitting in a parked car on the side of the road in a residential area when I was hit by a drunk driver. I am not at all happy with the law firm I retained. The accident was 7 months ago and I have been surprised with finding a new attorney would be taking over my case 3 different times now. I feel like I am being passed around like a cheap bottle of wine. I have no idea what the billing will be like and not sure what they have done. I just had a MRI done 2 days ago. Its been 7 months. What can I do about this? I feel like they are going to screw up a very straight forward case.

If you think the relationship is not working well, you should interview other lawyers and hire one you feel comfortable with. As for the fees, you will only pay one lawyer fee even if you change several lawyers. The subsequent lawyer that you hire will pay the others from his share.
