Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Do I have a slander case against a lawyer for telling my family member about my use of my sons ID to obtain a cell phone 12 years ago. He suffered no damage andI took care of this bill. It seems that this lawyer is trying to defaame me.

A true statement cannot be slanderous. It sounds like what the lawyer said was true. If that's the case, then you don't have a viable slander case. It's possible that you could win some other type of case, but you haven't provided enough facts to say one way or the other.
