Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Slip and Fall

I need to discuss a slip and fall injury that I sustained this summer and would like to call an attorney regarding this.

I have submitted a request from the defendant to obtain their insurance information and now my former franchisor has come forward and is wanting information from me regarding this slip and fall? I dont know if they are trying to indemnify themselves or the defendant called them to pass the liability to them or not?

Please advise?
