Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
I slipped and fell in motor oil that someone dumped in the driveway which is also where my front door is at the apartment I rent,I informed the owner of the building that the neighbor is the one that dumped the oil and that i had tried to clean up what I could in front of my door,Who would be at fault for my injuries?Does it matter that I am in the process of moving out at the owners request in 1 day ?

It does not matter you are moving out. Both the owner and neighbor are responsible for the spill. If you knew the spill was there and did not take reasonable precautions, you may bear some responsibility too.
