If my Son who is over 18 but still lives at home and has his own vehicle and insurance gets into an accident, can they sue me?

Yes. Whether they can win will depend upon the facts of the case. That your adult son still lives with you does not make you liable, but it also does not insulate you from any liability you might have on other grounds.
