Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
My son (17 yrs) was riding his scooter and crashed so to speak on a sidewalk that was uneven. He was picked up by an ambulance, taken to emergency, and received medication. He chipped his elbow. We do not have medical insurance and the bills are too much to pay. Would i be able to sue the city for medical costs?

yes plus pain and suffering with any permanent disability. YHou must file a claim with the city within six months. Contact me directly.
Certainly, and you should, but the first order of business is to inspect the defect regarding the SIZE of the uneven defect. This is crucial, because defects below a certain size can be barred as "trivial." We take cases in West Covina, and an attorney would immediately inspect the area as part of your free consultation.
