Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

stairs injurie

On March 1st,I fell down the stairs at the building were I wolunteer and injured my elbow.I had a surgery to remove a broken bone.Still recovering and my arm is not 100% recovered.The insurance adjusters denied my claim,after they detirmined that their client was not at fault.Do I have any grounds to persue this furder.
