Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Im starting a service that connects everyday people with celebrities for a lunch or dinner in order to benefit charity. My question is: What would be the liability my company would face in putting the people together with the celebrity? In other words, when we bring the celebrity together with the individual, are we responsible for the safety of the celebrity? If so, how can that be handled or addressed?

Yes, you would be held responsible and liable for any conceivable acts of mischief, or any other conceivable risks of harm to the celebrity. You will probably have to buy really expensive insurance. If the criminal conduct of a madman could not be anticipated, you would not be responsible for that. But most likely, you would be responsible to protect the celebrity.
