You could be cited with driving on a suspended license, if the police investigated the accident. But if that had happened, they would have cited you on the spot, so I'm guessing that the police didn't come (most likely because there were no serious injuries). If you have some muscle pain and need treatment, your lack of a license won't stop you from making a personal injury claim.

Your license suspension has nothing to do with the cause of the accidemt and if you have injuries and have damages you can be compensated for pain and suffering, property damages and economic losses such as loss of wages. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.

If your auto insurance also was not in effect because the policy requires you to be licensed, then you would not be able to collect for any pain and suffering.
