Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Can I sue for expenses and pain and suffering in a case involving a TRO that was

My sister-in-law, brother-inlaw and his spouse re trying to extort money from my husband and I and my husband's younger brother (because of a living trust issue that we are not giving them money on). They had my sister-in-law file a TRO against my husband and his brother saying al 3 of us did physical harm, damaged her car, harass them, sexually molested her, even that my husband is a Nazi. We can, of course prove these are lies, and the judge did not give her the restraining order. Can we sue for our expenses and pain and suffering, etc.?

You may have a claim for malicious prosecution and abuse of process. The problem may be collecting on any judgment against them. I would also consider filing a for a no-contact restraining order against your sister in law, etc.
