Should I sue even if I was not injured?

I was rear-ended and was not at fault, but the other party was scheming a story to say I was at fault during the time we were waiting for the police. Should I get a lawyer and can I sue if I have no injuries but just want compensation for my deductible and car rental fees?

You don�t need a lawyer. Report the accident to your insurance company because they will pay for a lawyer to defend you if you get sued. For your out of pocket expenses you can go to small claims court.
