Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
Can someone sue me to pay to get a car fixed where the repairs would be greater than the actual value of the car? I was told i was only liable for the actual value of the car or the repairs, which ever is less...(and no there is no insurances involved)

You are correct. If the cost of repair is greater than the value of the damaged property before you damaged it, you are only liable for the value of the property before the damage.
