can i sue after 2 years of incident?

About 2 years ago, an estetician put something on my arm to ''lighten my birthmark'', & it ended up giving me a major chemical burn, larger than a silver dollar, & i went to doctors to get treated, can i still sue even though the event took place so long ago? I've had 2 reconstructive surgeries already to try & make it smaller.

You have to specifically contact an atty that specializes in Medical malpractice. The time limits may be different than a regular PI case.
