Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Surveillance for Insurance vs. Stalking, Harassment and Intimidation

I, alone, was involved in an accident some time ago. I sustained permanent injuries in that accident. I suspect I, my family and even friends are under surveillance now. What distinguishes an insurance investigation from stalking, harassment and intimidation? What laws govern this type of investigation and where can I find this information? What rights does an individual have? Does my entire family along with anyone I come in contact with have to be subjected to being followed and videotaped? Is there a time limit for this type of investigation? Can this be a 24 hour, 7 days a week process? To what extent must I accept this surveillance which interferes with my activities of daily living. Is there an obligation to inform me of such surveillance taking place - especially if I ask?

Your paranoia is out of control. Seek some help with your mental health problem. Which may be induced by the accident. Or you may be suffering from a drug induced problem. Again possibly from the drugs your were and may be still receiving for the trauma and/or pain of the accident.

Insurance companies do surveillance on a regular basis. As long as they do not come on your property or "peep" into your house, they probably are within their rights. It could go on as long as you are trying to obtain insurance benefits.
