Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Id theft

Some one has recently hacked into my

myspace account using my password. I

think I know who did it. If I'm able to

prove it what legal recourse do I have

to punish them.

You could report it to the police or myspace, but if they didnt do anything harmful, you have no damages. There would not be a civil remedy for this and I dont think the police will investigate it.
