Yes, two years, but there are exceptions. Medical malpractice cases have other more restrictive statute dates, and if any governmental entity might have been at fault in contributing to the injury, then there is a six month limitations to file a gov claim. It sounds like you are considering handling this claim yourself. If the injury is very minor, that might fly. If it is major, that is foolish.
