Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
Track III
I am being sued in a personal injury case and am representing myself. What is a Notice of Uninsured Motorist Claim Exemption? Also, what does placing the case in Track III mean? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Re: Track III
Thanks for your posting.
By law, uninsured motorist cases are subject to arbitration, not a court or jury trial. The plaintiff is asking for an exemption, so that this case can proceed in court, for some reason.
You did not mention what court this was filed in, but many courts have a "track" system, meaning that the cases are given a priority and placed on track I, II, or III (or higher), based upon the age of the parties, the complexity of the case, and how long this case should take before it gets to trial.
I hope that this information helps, but if you have other questions, need more information, or feel that you need legal representation, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. Im happy to help in any way that I can.
