Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

victim in car accident

due to the fact that the person who hit our parked car was driving a car that had a lienholder on it, but didnt have full coverage but had liability ins only, is it possible after 0ver 25,000 in hospital bills and therapy to demand the full 30,000 for one person when three were in car but on ly the one got severly hurt...or can one submit bills to insurance co..and demand 50,000 knowing that they probably wont get more then 15,000, his ins is 15,000 per person 30,000 for more then one..thank you

You are not limited to the amount of insurance. You should pursue your damages against the defendant.

Whether there is a lienholder makes no difference.
