Re: victim compensation

You do have certain rights, but any attorney who takes this case will need more facts. Where the assault and battery happened is very important because the property owner might be liable. I can give you a free initial consultation. Give me a call at 1-800-999-HURT or you can email me your number and I will call you.

Re: victim compensation

Your question is a bit "difficult" to read and follow. Thus, we would need more clarified facts from you to properly advise or assist you hereafter.

However, if you are the victim in the crime at issue, you would be appearing in court for witness testimony against the culprit. This is a criminal proceeding, so if you are looking to recover damages from the culprit, you would need to file a civil proceeding at some point before, during or after the criminal proceedings. For a free consultation, contact us directly today.

Re: victim compensation

Your rights include victim compensation through a special fund provided for those who are victims of violent crimes as well as a possible civil lawsuit against your attacker. In addition, others may be liable depending on all the surrounding circumstances of the attack and your injury. The D.A. should be able to provide you with information relating to the victims compensation fund.

Our firm is very selective about the cases we take. However, it sounds like your injury and circumstances that led to your injury appears to be the type of case our office would take on.

Please feel free to contact my office at, 818.385.0250 for a free consultation should you desire to hire counsel.

Best regards,

David B. Lupoff
