will i get arrested if i was a passenger in a vehicle that had an accident and fled the scene

A driver who is involved in an accident must take certain actions before leaving the scene. There is no such requirement for passengers. So you shouldn't be arrested for fleeing the scene of the accident.

But you might be arrested for other reasons. My guess is that you fled because you feared being arrested for something else. That could still happen.
