Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Wood found in a piece of meat

I was at a party where there were caterers and as i was eating some ribs and wen I bit into it it really hurt and some of my teeth got chipped. I spit out what was in my mouth and when i looked there was a piece of wood in it! It was so painful and I had to go to the dentist and get my teeth fixed. Should I pursue this? Thank you for your time

Re: Wood found in a piece of meat

As you know, wood should not be in meat; as such, liability is typically not an issue in these cases. This may seem like an odd question but did you keep the piece of wood or report it to anyone at the catering company? You should pursue this if you feel it necessary to be compensated for your dentist costs, lost wages and pain and suffering, etc. Feel free to contact me if you would like more information.
