If I am a plaintiff on a lawsuit ,Do i have to be notified, if a settlement is reached out of court?

Not only do you have to be notified, you have to approve it before it is binding.

If you are the only plaintiff, then there is no way a settlement can be reached without your participation. You would have to be involved, so there is no need to notify you of something you already know about.

If there are other plaintiffs then you might or might not have to be notified of a settlement, depending upon the specifics.

In addition to what the other lawyers have said, if your attorney receives a check from an insurance company, the insurance company is required by law to notify you of their sending a check to your attorney, for your protection.

The simple answer is, yes. If you are the plaintiff, and the case has been settled somehow, you are the only person that can dismiss the case, so you would have to be notified.
