Legal Question in Product Liability in California
Friends Mom Took my Ipod
Hi,
Recently I let my friend borrow my Ipod. (note that i am a Freshman in Highschool). His mom confiscated it because he wasn't allowed to have one. I have called his parents to give it back but they tell me
''No, You can get it back when (My friend), Gets Ungrounded''.
My question is:
1)are they allowed to Take my Ipod?
2) If not, What should i do about it?

No she has no right to keep your Ipod. Have your parents call her.
