Hair dye allergic reaction..help

Hi, in november 2008, my husband bought just for men hair color, did the patch test, waited 48 hrs, put it on his hair, the next day his head was really red and itchy, the next day stated weaping, his head swelled twice its size, went to ER, he had chemical burns and severe allergic reaction, he has minor scarring and was still itching until last month!! We contacted JFM and they are paying us $325.00 I told them he needs compensation for pain and suffering, they said we dont do that. Before we sign, do i have a lawsuit for more money?? Yes, you probably do. It depends in part on the labels and warnings on the box. Do not sign anything and do not accept anything until you have spoken to an attorney.
