Legal Question in Product Liability in California
Legal rights pertaining to jewlery and jewlery store
We bought my wedding ring in November of 2005. The ring came with a certificate. We had the bands changed from white gold to platinum. They made us sign a ''no refund for special orders'' form but the form also states ''guaranteed quality of worksmanship''. We had to take it back numerous times due to inperfections such as the side diamonds didn't look like diamonds instead it looked like black holes or the head of the ring wasn't set straight or the two sides of the ring wasn't even. Each time we took it in, we got it back with something else wrong with it. The last time I picked up my right was thursday morning. Today, sunday I realized that a diamond have fallen out. Only 4 days and a diamond is gone.
My question is, is there anything I can do legally to get a refund? If I ship my ring out to be appraised and it comes back with results other than what is stated in the ring certificate, what should and can I do?
I would really appreciate if I could get some answers and advice.
Respectfully,
Stressed Out!
