Does anyone have sample I could use as a Motion for Reconsideration for Sanctions for failure to appear at an OSC due to excusable neglect?

If there was an OSC regarding sanctions, there was an earlier hearing at which sanctions were proposed. You only have a short time to act from when the order was entered. Take a look at the statutes governing reconsideration. Write up a declaration under penalty of perjury explaining in detail your excusably negligent reasons for not showing up, and why you should not have faced sanctions in the first place. Being hospitalized is probably a good excuse. Having slept late because you partied too much the night before would not be excusable neglect.
