Legal Question in Product Liability in California
We are a young couple that bought a 1999 Toyota Camry last night but promptly returned it same day.
The seller misled us on the car's odometer.
What's bothering us is that we returned the certificate of title to the seller with my wife's name and our home address on it and also my sign under a hand-written sentence of "as is" that shows after the purchase time my wife is the new owner of the car.
We are so worry about any possible problem that the seller may make.
Please give us a feedback that how likely he can do something bad.

There's no way we can peel open the seller's head and predict what he's going to do. Having said that, he could sue your wife for breach of contract if he disagrees with you concerning the odometer.
