Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I am 18 and turning 19 in a few months, I want to move out but I know my dad wont let me, I am planning on secretly doing it, I need to know if it is illegal to take the things that belong to me when I leave, such as my clothes, and things I need everyday. Can I take them if I did not pay for them even thought they are mine? I need help..
