I think this is permissible, but then I don't know exactly how the ad copy will read or what you will be holding yourself out to do.... "new construction consultant" could mean a fairly wide variety of things from perfoming field inspections for architects and owners to advising investors on financial deals and development projects.

You should probably contact the DRE, which I'm sure has a licensee-question answering service (as does the State Bar re legal ethics and conflicts).

Also, you need to keep your employing broker advised, I would think.
