Apartment Managers
My most recent apartmant manager is giving out my new personal address and phone number without my permission. She is doing just to spite me. What should I do?

Re: Apartment Managers
The manager's actions appear to be an invasion of privacy, but whether you could assert any claim in court with a reasonable chance of success is questionable, and may depend upon whether you are really damaged or not. Your better bet is to examine the root causes of the tension between the manager and you, and address them in a reasonable and forthright manner, e.g. by discussions with this manager or complaint to the owners who employ him/her. I should also mention that there is a relatively simple action for a restraining order for civil harrassment; it may not fit your situation, but consider Code of Civil Procedure section 527.6.
