Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I have asked my ex boyfriend to remove his stuff from my garage. He says he won't take it until next January, plus he has made these promises to me several times before without results and I need my garage at Christmas. I have offered to have his stuff delivered to him if he doesn't have time to get it. He says I should not "touch his stuff". What are my legal rights? He moved his stuff in there with my permission in January but as of May I have been asking him to remove it.

You are not a free self-storage warehouse and it's time you stopped letting him treat you like one. Shipping his stuff to him would be a kindness, probably more than he deserves.
