i was assaulted and battered, it that duress
i was assaulted and beaten by someone i owed money too. he then made me take a hard money loan on my parents home a couple of days later to pay him back. is that contract voidable under duress.

What difference does it make? If you had any backbone you would have gone to the police rather than take a loan on your parents' house! And by the way, how can YOU take a loan on a house owned by someone else? No one can MAKE anyone do something like that.
