If a back up offer is rescinded while a property is under contract with another buyer, does the realtor representing the seller have to tell the realtor representing the original buyer that the back up offer was withdrawn?

Absent a dual agency, I don't think so. Of course, no agent can tell an untruth when asked, but the seller's agent has no duty I can think of to disclose the status of other buyers' offers.
