Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I bought a piece of land that has nothing but a dilapaded mobile home(which we are cutting up for scrap soon) and I need to know if I post "NO TRESSPASSING" signs on it will I be protected legaly if someone decides to ignore them and enter and gets hurt and tries to sue.

Not if you have dangerous conditions on your property or are negligent in the way you own and maintain it. Years ago California abolished the distinction between the duties owed invited guests and trespassers. Now they are the same. May not play as well to a jury but still that�s why you have property insurance and need to take care of your property in a reasonable manner.
