Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
I bought a Timeshare 3 years ago and want to stop paying the annual fees since we don't use it. It is paid for in full. How do we get out of this contract?

Sell it. You could also let the fees go unpaid for so long that the timeshare company forecloses on it for the fees, but that could be harmful to your credit. If you can't sell it, contact the timeshare company about whether they will just take it back instead of going through the whole process of taking it back for unpaid fees. Odds are, though, you can sell it, especially since you are willing to walk away from it; so how much you get for it would not seem to matter.
