Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I am currently bound to a lease on my apartment and two months ago my roommate committed a felony against me. She stole my debit card and charged 200$ worth of stuff on it. I can't find someone to take over my lease-- I've been looking for two months. I have not been back to my apartment in over 3 weeks and I'm still paying for it and utilities. Would I have a case to get out of my lease?

No. Your problems with your roommate are not the concern of your landlord. Your question also doesn't make much sense. If your roommate committed that crime against you why aren't they in jail and you in the apartment?
