Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Boundry wall dispute

Neighbor is advising we need to pay for 95% of

retaining wall as they dont need it because their

guest house gives them enough privacy. The wall

is up and we already paid our half and now they say

we should of paid balance still outstanding. We

thought new co-owner had agreed to cover balance

but they say my husband knows he should pay it.

Now neighbor is advising he's going to tear down

a portion of wall unless we pay. There is no written

agreement to their claim of our 95% responsibilty and

wall is a property line retaining wall on our pool

side and they think because we wanted wall it's our

problem. PLease advise.

Re: Boundry wall dispute

Get a restraining order against them so they cannot tear the wall down without a court order.
