Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Someone tried to break into my apartment, and I live in a secure gated compunity. Some gates are broken and the landlord has not fixed them. I feel unsafe here. Can i demand them to repair them or quite my lease?

You can demand they repair them, and if they don't they are liable for any harm that comes to you, but it is not grounds to break your lease unless your own individual unit cannot be locked at all doors and windows.
