CA Real Estate Brokerage, Place of Business Requirement

Are real estate brokers in California required to have a physical office seperate from their home, or can a broker operate out of a home office?

I went through the regulations of the Department of Real Estate. The word "address" appears 86 times. I looked briefly at each of them. None seemed to suggest that there were any limitations on what a broker could use for an address. I know several brokers who work from home. I work from home as an attorney, by the way.
