Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

California... My landlord has locked me in. I've been in a 3yr war with the owner and his staff this their latest. Can I have someone cut the padlock off?

Yes. A landlord never has the legal right to lock a person IN their home. In many cases they can lock them OUT, other times they can't do that either, but they are never allowed to lock them IN.
